Gingerbread Tea Latte

This gingerbread tea latte is made with a full-bodied black tea, homemade gingerbread syrup, milk froth and whipped cream. Wrap yourself in comfort and warmth over the holidays with the notes of dark molasses and zesty ginger for a sweet and spicy indulgence.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons loose leaf black tea or 2 tea bags
  • ½ cup water freshly boiled
  • 1-2 tablespoons gingerbread syrup
  • ¼ cup milk
  • whipped cream & crushed gingerbread cookies for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mug, steep black tea in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Cover the tea while it is steeping.
  • Strain loose tea leaves or remove tea bags. Add gingerbread syrup and stir until well combined. Adjust the amount to taste.
  • Heat and froth milk of your choice. Add the milk froth to the mug with some whipped cream on top. Sprinkle with crushed gingerbread cookies for garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

To Make An Iced Gingerbread Tea Latte: In a glass with ice, add homemade gingerbread syrup, steeped black tea and milk. Top the iced latte with whipped cream and crushed gingerbread cookies before serving or enjoying.
