Dandelion Root Tea Latte

This recipe for Dandelion Root Tea Latte is a coffee substitute with added health benefits. It is earthy, smooth and creamy with a splash of vanilla and a sprinkle of cardamom. Enjoy this caffeine-free latte at the start or end of your day!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tea bags roasted dandelion root or 2 teaspoons of loose leaf dandelion root tea
  • ½ cup water freshly boiled
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Ground cardamom for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mug, steep roasted dandelion root tea in freshly boiled water for 10 minutes. Cover this herbal tea while steeping.
  • Remove tea bags or strain the loose leaf tea, depending on what you use. Add sweetener of choice and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  • Heat and froth milk until it almost doubles in volume. Top the mug of tea with the milk froth. Sprinkle ground cardamom on the latte to garnish it. Enjoy!
