Cherry Matcha Latte

This cherry matcha latte combines earthy green tea powder with layers of cherry simple syrup and milk. It is a fruity matcha flavour that you have to try!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon matcha
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • cup milk of choice
  • 2-3 tablespoons cherry simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Sliced cherries optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bottle, jar or cocktail shaker, sift matcha. This will remove clumps from the green tea powder. Add cold water to the vessel, seal it and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds or until frothy and smooth.
  • To assemble the latte, add cherry simple syrup, a few slices of cherries (if using) and milk to a glass. You can add more or less syrup, depending on your taste preferences. Stir to combine.
  • Fill the glass with ice. Pour cold brew matcha over the ice. Garnish with more cherries, if desired. Stir and enjoy!
