This cherry matcha latte combines earthy green tea powder with layers of cherry simple syrup and milk. It is a fruity matcha flavour that you have to try!
In a bottle, jar or cocktail shaker, sift matcha. This will remove clumps from the green tea powder. Add cold water to the vessel, seal it and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds or until frothy and smooth.
To assemble the latte, add cherry simple syrup, a few slices of cherries (if using) and milk to a glass. You can add more or less syrup, depending on your taste preferences. Stir to combine.
Fill the glass with ice. Pour cold brew matcha over the ice. Garnish with more cherries, if desired. Stir and enjoy!
