Lavender Tea Latte

Lavender tea latte is an aromatic drink that combines the boldness of black tea with lavender syrup and creamy milk froth. This caffeinated latte is wonderful to enjoy when you need a soothing and uplifting start to the day. Top the latte with a sprinkle of dried lavender flowers for an extra touch of elegance.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons black tea loose leaf or 2 tea bags
  • ½ cup water freshly boiled
  • 1-2 tablespoons lavender simple syrup
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Culinary dried lavender buds for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a mug, steep black tea in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Cover while steeping.
  • Strain loose tea leaves or remove tea bags, depending on what you use. Add lavender simple syrup and stir. Adjust the amount to taste. 
  • Heat and froth milk until it almost doubles in volume. Top the mug of tea with the milk froth, sprinkle with dried culinary lavender buds to garnish (optional). Enjoy! 

Notes

To Make An Iced Lavender Tea Latte:

In a glass with ice, add lavender simple syrup, steeped black tea and milk. Top with whipped cream or cold foam and sprinkle with dried lavender before serving or enjoying.
