Rooibos Tea Latte

This naturally caffeine-free latte is incredibly smooth with a woodsy, nutty flavour and caramel-like undertones. A touch of sugar and vanilla is added to bring out the gentle sweetness of the rooibos tea.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons rooibos loose leaf tea or 2 tea bags
  • ½ cup water freshly boiled
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk

Instructions
 

  • In a mug, add rooibos tea (loose leaf or tea bags) and freshly boiled water. Cover the mug and steep for 5 minutes.
  • After steeping, strain the loose leaf tea or remove the tea bags. Add sugar and vanilla extract. Stir until dissolved.
  • Heat milk and froth until the milk doubles in volume. Top the mug with milk froth. If desired, sprinkle with a ground spice of your choice (ie. cinnamon, cloves or cardamom). Enjoy!
