Strawberry Milk Tea

This gorgeous light pink Strawberry Milk Tea is ready in minutes using real strawberries and no special tools. Sweet, juicy and milky, almost like strawberries and cream! If desired, add tapioca pearls to this recipe to make strawberry bubble tea.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon green tea or black tea
  • ½ cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry simple syrup
  • 1 strawberry diced (plus an extra for garnish)
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ice

Instructions
 

  • Steep your tea of choice, green tea or black tea, in hot water. Following the proper steeping guidelines for the type of tea that you are using: Green tea - 80ºC/176ºF for 3 minutes, Black tea - 100ºC/212ºF for 5 minutes.
  • Strain the loose leaf tea or remove the tea bags. Let cool then place in the refrigerator to chill for 1-2 hours.
  • In a glass, add strawberry simple syrup and diced strawberries. If you want to make strawberry bubble tea, prepare tapicoa pearls according to the directions on the package then add ¼ cup here as well. Otherwise, move on to the next step.
  • Fill the glass with ice, pour milk then chilled tea. Garnish with a strawberry on the rim of the glass. Stir to combine before enjoying!
