Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte

This iced strawberry matcha latte recipe is absolutely delicious and incredibly eye-catching with the green, white and red layers. Bright, vegetal matcha is paired with intense, sweet and juicy strawberry flavours.

  • 1. Prepare matcha, cold brew style. In a bottle or jar, sift matcha powder and add cold water. Seal with a lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. The cold brew matcha should be smooth, with no signs of clumps. 
  • 2. Assemble the strawberry matcha latte. Add strawberry simple syrup to a glass then fill with ice. I like about 4 tablespoons of the simple syrup with this latte, but you can add more or less. Start with less, as you can always add more later if needed.
  • 3. Slowly pour the milk over the ice cubes, followed by the cold brew matcha. Pouring these two ingredients slowly and directly onto the ice cubes will give the drink a layered look. 
  • 4. Stir the drink to combine before enjoying!

Optional: Add some diced strawberries to the glass with the ice before adding milk and matcha. Garnish the finished latte with sliced strawberries, too.
