Spicy, vegetal, refreshing and vibrant green beer made with matcha and ginger beer. This is an easy and fun option for a non-alcoholic beer that is naturally green thanks to the green tea powder! No food colouring or other chemicals.
Sift matcha into a resealable bottle or jar. Add cold water, seal and shake vigorously until smooth.
In a tall and narrow glass, pour the cold brew matcha then fill the rest of the glass with ginger beer. Serve and enjoy immediately. Cheers!
Notes
This recipe makes about 1 ¾ cups, generally served to one but can be split to serve two.Alternatively, you can swap the ginger beer for actual beer or non-alcoholic beer to make a green beer without the green dye!
