Jasmine Green Tea Granola

Add a little floral to your morning with this tea infused granola. Delicious with yogurt, smoothie bowls, milk or on its own!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups raw whole oats
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 cup pistachios chopped
  • 1/2 cup almonds slivered or chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup prunes chopped
  • 2 tbsp real maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup jasmine green tea steeped and cooled*
  • pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, add the whole oats along with all of the nuts, seeds and dried fruit.
  • Toss together with the real maple syrup, coconut oil, sea salt and the jasmine green tea. Make sure the coconut oil is melted entirely so there are no chunks of it in the mixture.
  • Evenly place the granola on to the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the it is lightly toasted. Be sure to toss every 5 minutes so that it doesn't burn on one side.
  • Remove from the oven and allow it to cool before placing in an airtight container or enjoying! If stored properly it will last up to 2 weeks.

Notes

*To prepare the jasmine green tea for this recipe, steep 1 tsp of the tea into 1/4 cup of hot water (80 degrees Celsius). More leaves, less water = stronger steep.
