Iced Hojicha Latte

This is a creamy iced tea latte that is low in caffeine but high in warm, roasted flavours. Add my favourite sweetener for an iced maple hojicha latte, too!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon hojicha powder
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon real maple syrup optional but highly recommended!
  • ice

Instructions
 

  • In a jar or bottle filled with ice, add the hojicha powder and cold water. Seal and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds or until you don't see any powder clumps. The ice cubes should help break them apart though.
  • Open the jar and slowly pour in milk (watch the cool milk + hojicha effect!) and then maple syrup or another sweetener of your choice.
  • Stir together and enjoy!

Notes

*Optional: sprinkle more hojicha powder on top of the iced latte before drinking or serving!
