Iced Brown Sugar Black Tea Latte

A malty black tea and milk are paired up with brown sugar syrup for a deep caramel-like sweetness plus a hint of toffee flavour. Follow this recipe to make a caffeinated and refreshing iced latte in no time!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon black tea or 1 tea bag
  • 1/2 cup water freshly boiled (100°C/212°F)
  • 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar syrup*
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • ice

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a mug or teapot, add the black tea and freshly boiled water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Strain the tea leaves or remove the tea bags when done steeping.
  • 2. In a glass, add 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar syrup (adjust amount based on your preference).
  • 3. Fill the glass with ice. Pour milk then the steeped black tea. Stir to combine and enjoy!
