Chamomile Iced Tea

Chamomile is a popular caffeine-free tea that can be prepared as an iced tea. It has a delicate floral aroma and taste with a mild apple-like sweetness. This easy Chamomile iced tea recipe will be your go-to when you want something refreshing and relaxing!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons chamomile loose leaf tea or 2 tea bags
  • ¾ cup freshly boiled water
  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar optional
  • lemon slice, for garnish optional
  • ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Steep chamomile tea in freshly boiled water for 5-7 minutes.
  • Strain the loose chamomile tea or remove the tea bags after steeping. If using, add honey or sugar to the steeped tea and stir until dissolved.
  • Let the chamomile tea cool then cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
  • To serve, fill a glass with ice and pour the chamomile tea. Garnish with a lemon slice, if desired. Enjoy!
