In a resealable bottle or jar (I like using a mason jar!), sift matcha using a fine mesh filter. Sifting matcha helps to remove clumps.
Add cold water, seal the bottle or jar and shake vigorously until frothy and smooth.
In a glass, add mint simple syrup, ice and milk. Top the glass with matcha but make sure to leave some room for the whipped cream.
Add whipped cream and garnish with a fresh mint sprig. Sprinkle the top of the whipped cream with matcha or chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
