3 Reasons to Try a PSL with Matcha Instead of Coffee
Matcha and coffee do not taste the same so the one you pick to drink comes down to preference. But, here are a few reasons to give this PSL matcha version a try!
1. Less Jitters
Matcha and coffee are both popular caffeinated drinks. However, the energy boost they can give you is done so differently and may be important to you if you are sensitive to caffeine. Coffee may give you a boost of energy quickly but, matcha provides sustained energy without the crash or jitters.
2. Contains L-theanine
L-theanine is an amino acid that is found in green tea. It helps induce alpha-frequency brain wave which is a state of wakeful calmness. Therefore, matcha can also promote relaxation!
3. More Antioxidants
Matcha is packed with antioxidants! When drinking this tea powder you are ingesting the full tea leaves and getting all of the nutrients. Matcha is also rich in vitamins, fiber, chlorophyll and anti-inflammatory benefits from catechins, including EGCG.
