Tea infused beauty products are my weakness. I don’t even use a lot of beauty products, but whenever I find something that features tea as its main ingredient I have to try it! The thought is that if drinking tea can be beneficial for your skin, then applying it to your skin would increase any benefits. Tea infused beauty products can be a hit or a miss for me though as some products only use a tiny amount of tea for marketing purposes. That’s not the case with TEAOLOGY. I was intrigued when I first saw that this brand was making its way to Canada because their skincare line is 0% water and 100% Tea Infusion!
About TEAOLOGY: Tea Infusion Skincare
Originating in Italy, TEAOLOGY was created by Cecilia Garofano. With her background in the cosmetic industry and her love for tea, Cecilia found a way to incorporate the two after a trip to Canada. She took her passion for tea’s health properties to find the best formula that would transfer them into skin care products. With help from a chemistry team, Cecilia found the best answer. TEAOLOGY’s unique patented tea infusion method allows it to retain the highest concentration of polyphenols, a powerful antioxidant. The skincare brand is vegan and cruelty-free. All products do NOT contain parabens, paraffins, mineral oils, synthetic colours, SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate), formaldehyde donors and phtalates. TEAOLOGY Tea Infusion Skincare Review
Over the past month, I had the chance to try out a few products from TEAOLOGY. Here are my thoughts on them.
Bancha Oil
The first time I saw TEAOLOGY online this product immediately caught my attention because the packaging implied actual tea leaves are inside. Much to my surprise, when I actually opened the box, the bottle was just like the packaging! It was incredible to see that whole bancha green tea leaves were dancing around in this oil. Teaology uses this tea for its moisturising, elasticising and brightening properties.
You can use this product a few ways. Add a few drops in your hands and apply on your face and body, or just add a few drops to a bath! My personal favourite though is to use it in my hair. During humid weather especially, my hair can get quite frizzy. This product was a life saver this summer as it always made my hair extra soft and helped me keep even the smallest of hair pieces down! 
White Tea Miracle Drops
This has quickly become my new favourite serum, ever! I use it in the morning mainly because I often forget about applying it in the evening (oops!). I love the fresh aroma and the fact that it doesn’t feel heavy or too oily on my skin. This product is great for all types of skin. It’s sure to give your face that radiant glow all while redensifying skin tissue.
Rose Tea Micellar Cleansing Water
I was a bit hesitant to try this product because I’m not usually a fan of how roses smell (cue Outkast), but luckily the fragrance is gentle in this cleansing water. In fact, I found the subtle roses infusion to make this product more refreshing so I love using it first thing when I wake. I use it before bed if I were wearing any makeup that day as this product does a phenomenal job at removing even waterproof mascara!
