Hi Marnie,
I’m glad you liked the recap of the festival. It attracts every kind of tea lover! I’m sorry you were disappointed in people’s attire, but I don’t believe that the way anyone dressed was disrespectful towards the art of tea. It’s a casual festival that gives people the opportunity to buy tea, try new teas, and learn more about tea. I hope you’ll get a chance to check it out one year 🙂

I attended this year – and as my 4th year attending- it amazes me at how much it grows every year! It was alot of fun and I agree Jeff is an amazing story teller!

You have given us an excellent synopsis of the Tea Symposium.
I had imagined it would attract a group that would dress well to
respect the ancient art that tea growing and presenting is.
I was quite dismayed to see all the females in shabby blue jeans/
ill-fitting, dull attire. What a great disappointment. With just
a bit of forethought, each of you could have looked elegant and
ladylike. Maybe next time. For now, I will go back to reading
Victoria and Tea Time magazines to enjoy elegance and presentation.
