I love the idea of reading tea leaves. I’ve been reading tarot cards for over 30 years and my mum and I came across my nans old tea set, so together we are going to learn reading the leaves.

In reply to Halkatla. I think of divination as special meditation practice. You use the reading to get you to think about your question in new ways. If you're into this type of thing, look up 'placebo magick' or even 'atheopaganism'.

I love the idea of tea leaf reading.. the mystery and magic of it, it’s almost like something out of a Harry Potter book. However, as an actual way of predicting the future, it makes no sense to me. The idea of looking into the future implies that our “destinies” are somehow already set in stone, by someone/something, and that just seems a bit too unlikely to me. I dont think humans are important enough for any gods/higher powers (if there are any at all) to pay that much attention to, lol. Religion tend to be very human-obsessed, but in reality we are just a tiny little species living on a tiny little planet, in a veeery big universe. 🙂
