April Fools day is almost over and I have (so far) successfully avoided getting fooled this year. I usually avoid the internet whenever I can on this day because you never know what little thing is going to trick you. Being extra careful, I managed to create the March blog round up of my favourite tea related reads. If you’re also trying not to get fooled today I promise there are no pranks in these blogs. The easiest way to not fall into a prank today is reading up on last month’s stuff, right? Enjoy 🙂
Tea
Tea Happiness | A Tea-Infused Chili Recipe – Lapsang Souchong is my favourite in chili! Sara shared her vegetarian chili recipe using the tea — the perfect smoky addition. You have to try it!
Meditation and Matcha | Encha Matcha & Gratitude for Gaia – Brad once asked on his Instagram for some matcha recommendations and I suggested two of my favourite matcha brands. He gave one of them a try already and reported his very positive thoughts on his blog.
Tea End Blog | Elderflower Infused Honey – Infused honey of any sort always excites me! Vanilla, bourbon, of even tea infused honey can be so delicious and it’s so easy to make (just requires some patience). Gabie created this recipe and I think it would be perfect to add into your tea. Also, be sure to note how adorable her nails are in the photos for this post. I need tea nails now!
Tea Thoughts | My First Gaiwan! – Nazanin finally got herself a gaiwan (a gorgeous one too!) and wrote about her first time experience with it. If you have been curious about preparing your teas with a gaiwan, this may be a great beginner post to check out. Bonus: she blogged about her puerh experiences with the gaiwan, too.
Food
Eat This Poem | “Tea” by Jehanne Dubrow + Almond Poppy Seed Scones – Nicole Gulotta’s cookbook was released in March and it is described as a literary feast of recipes inspired by poetry. To celebrate, you can find a beautiful tea poem accompanied with delicious scones on her blog.
Lifestyle
Randa Salloum | Cha Le Tea Merchant Cafe + Shop – So I have found a new tea shop to add to my list of places to check out! Randa visited Cha Le Tea, a shop in Vancouver B.C., and after seeing her blog post I had to look at their menu and decided I want to try it ALL! I must make it to Vancouver soon.
Enjoy this March blog round up! Do you have a blog you think I should check out? Let me know in the comments below!
