It’s from Korea. With no prior experience for comparison, all I can say is it’s a beautiful deep green powder, mixes well and tastes fine. But what do I know, yet? I’m here to learn. Thanks for helping me get started and develop my taste.

I just might. For now, I was thinking I could provisionally use an upside down espresso glass (kinda like a shot glass) or the “soldier” for soft boiled eggs! I’ll have to try once my chasen comes in the mail to see if it fits. 🙂

Hi Valentina, exciting about getting a matcha set! I hope you enjoy it. Unfortunately, I still don’t know of another item that could be used like the Chasen Kusenaoshi. It may be a good investment though so that you prolong the life of your chasen 🙂
