7 Must Make Iced Tea Recipes to Enjoy All Summer

Happy National Iced Tea Day! What better way to celebrate than with a refreshing, cold glass of your favourite steep? Iced teas can be prepared and served in many different ways. You can sweeten them, add fruit, shake them up, cold steep the teas and much more. A few weeks ago I shared three ways to tweak a bottled iced tea, however, most of my favourite versions include real tea leaves. Tisanes, such as herbs and spices, are also an invigorating option when getting creative with the iced beverage. In honour of today, I am sharing some delicious iced tea recipes from other bloggers that you can easily stir up at home.

Blackberry Iced Green Tea

When I think of pairing a green tea with a summer fruit, I think of blackberries which probably explains my excitement over this iced tea from The Refreshanista. If blackberries are not your favourite, they suggest subbing them with strawberries or raspberries. Click here for the recipe

Cardamom, Cinnamon & Ginger Iced Tea

These three spices are my absolute favourite when it comes to creating tea blends. There’s technically no actual tea in this iced tea recipe from The Taste Space, but it is a lighter spin on a popular tea blend. If you wanted, you could easily add in a malty assam tea and you have yourself a quick iced masala chai. Click here for the recipe.

Peach Ginger Iced Tea

When peach season comes around, often we are left with so many that can go bad pretty quick. My simple solution is to incorporate them into an iced tea, whether infusing directly, or using the juice for steeping. Flavour and Savour has created this flavourful iced tea with puréed peaches. Hibiscus and Lime Iced Tea

You won’t usually find me drinking hibiscus as a hot tisane, but with the gorgeous colour it creates after steeping, I can’t forget about it entirely. I find it most perfect for iced tea creations like this one from Occasionally Eggs. Use dried hibiscus petals or a hibiscus based tea. Click here for the recipe

Honolulu Iced Tea

The first iced tea I have ever made was definitely with the common orange pekoe tea bags. This one uses a tropical loose leaf black tea but Thirsty for Tea states you can really just use any one of your favourite black teas. If that includes a commercial tea bag, go ahead! Iced Earl Grey Latte

I shared this recipe with A Sip of Bliss blog just this week, in time for National Iced Tea Day. I’m a huge fan of tea lattes and in the summer time making them iced is my go-to. You can recreate this recipe with any tea you like, too! Click here for the recipe.

Matcha Chai Iced Tea

Here we are taking two teas I usually enjoy hot and combining them for an incredible iced tea. By now, you probably all know the popular green matcha and spicy tea blend known as masala chai. Think of this one from Amoda Tea as a different take on the “dirty chai” beverage (shot of espresso mixed into masala chai). Click here for the recipe.

  1. Nice blog having the preparation of 7 Iced Tea. Iced teas can be prepared and served in many different ways. You can sweeten them, add fruit, shake them up, cold steep the teas and much more. Thanks for sharing. Really helpful for iced tea lovers. Recently I had gone for a tour with my family and there I enjoyed the variety of Iced Tea of Long Island Iced Tea corporation and got refreshed. The tea is non-alcoholic and prepared with quality ingredients that are offered at an affordable price.
