5 Best Tea Advent Calendars for Your Christmas Countdown

Counting down until Christmas has always been fun and exciting, but it was brought with more joy when I had an advent calendar as well. There was always something to look forward to in the morning when you could finally peak behind your calendar’s door to see what was in store for that day. Here are a few tea advent calendars to help you celebrate advent season!

Growing up the typical chocolate themed advent calendars were most popular. Today, there are a plethora of items that are now used to help you countdown the days until the most wonderful time of the year. There definitely appears to be a lot more themed calendars for grown ups, and my most favourite are tea advent calendars.

What is a Tea Advent Calendar?

Like other advent calendars, a tea advent calendar is a way to countdown until Christmas. A new door is open each day to reveal a tea to drink while counting down until the best time of the year.

If you’re a tea lover, then an advent calendar filled with tea is definitely something you need to experience!

Factors to Consider When Buying Tea Advent Calendars

Tea Variety

The tea featured in advent calendars can vary. For instance, some may offer a wide range of tea types, including black, green, white and herbal teas. Other calendars may focus on a specific type of tea only such as green tea.

When shopping for a tea advent calendar you should consider what types of tea you enjoy and look for one that offers those varieties.

Packaging

Some tea advent calendars come in a traditional cardboard box with individually wrapped tea bags, while others may come in a reusable tin filled with loose leaf tea. If you drink tea bags more than loose leaf tea, you should consider the packaging before purchasing a calendar.

Also, if you want a more eco-friendly option, consider a calendar with packaging that can be repurposed once advent season is over.

Price

Tea advent calendars can range in price from under $30 to over $100. Keep your budget in mind when shopping for an advent calendar. Also note that a higher price does not always mean better quality tea or packaging.

If you want to experience the best tea advent calendar this year or just want to try a new advent calendar, these are a few that are worth looking at!
