Someone pinch me! I think I’m dreaming…
The Cup of Life has been nominated for the first ever World Tea Awards as the “Best Tea Blog”. The World Tea Awards will be celebrated on May 30, 2014 at Queen Salon aboard The Queen Mary in California.
My jaw sort of dropped when I opened by email from Gail Gastelu, Publisher of The Tea House Times, announcing I was a nominee. So many emotions ran through my head but really I’m just super honoured to be nominated, especially with my incredible fellow nominees:
The Oscar-style event will
be hosted by George Jage, founder/director of World Tea Media, and
Gail Gastelu. The Expo’s Best
New Products will be recognized along with a number of
community-voted categories. The Awards dinner will culminate with the
recognition of Devan Shah with the Cha
Jing Lifetime Achievement Award. The following are other categories for the awards dinner:
