Music With Tea {Giveaway}

The pairing of music with tea is a very common thing these days. On our poll to the left we have been asking our readers “what genre of music do you listen to during tea time?” It was a three way tie, out of four options! As you can see below, the popular genres were Jazz, Rock & Classical.

I’m not too picky when it comes to music choices. I am a fangirl of Britney Spears since I was like 8, but of course, I wouldn’t be inclined to blare her latest album during a quaint tea time. Throughout college, I was slowly introduced into the world of Jazz music and have found that to be an interesting genre to indulge into with a cup.

Today we have a musician from Ontario, Canada who is currently working on his first solo album after graduating from an Applied Music post-secondary program. He is also a tea lover himself. You can usually find him whisking matcha for his second cup of the day, or getting a quick inspiration from a Rooibos blend. We are delighted to be giving away a digital download of his album when it is completed later this year. I have included a clip below that is just a taste of how is music will be like. James Daniel started playing music when he was just 15 years old. At that time, James began playing rock music. He first started with tunes by Neil Young and then onto Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles. This all happened while James was taking guitar lessons from a well known teacher in the area. The teacher first showed him all the basics of the guitar including learning how to read music chord shapes and the modes from the major scale. This experience and practice led James to get into his high school’s jazz band and go to college for Applied Music. He is now giving music lessons in-person and online, while working on his first solo album & performing gigs.
