What does tea mean to me? [+giveaway!]

Happiness in a cup. A warm hug on a cold day. A soothing blend for a sore throat. A liquid form therapist. A quick vacation away to wherever I please at the moment. Instant smile brought upon my face. Bringing people closer together, or even just together in general. All great chats begin with it. Creativity starter. The number one thing I look forward to in the morning, every single day. Never. Gets. Boring.

Tea has quickly become my way of life and has helped me out even in the most toughest times. Same goes to the tea community. I love you all!

  1. What tea means me…

It's an escape from the ordinary. It's a way for to embrace my many moods and tailor my tea selection to pair with my mood at that very moment. It's an opportunity to slow life down even for a moment. It's my life line.

  2. Tea is def. a great way to begin creativity for me when I am writing and playing music. I hope to enjoy many different blends during my music career and create an album especially played for tea time.

  3. Tea is what I always need. If I need to relax I brew a cup of tea. If I need to wake up I brew a cup of tea. If I need to sleep I brew a cup of tea…. It's the answer to many problems.

  4. There is a tea for my every mood…it can comfort, soothe, cool, warm, perk me up, calm me down, refresh, uplift and relax…always reminding me that life can throw many things my way but a nice cup of tea will remain constant and reliable…never letting me down…unless I don't infuse correctly anyway 😉

  5. Tea is something special my husband and I bonded over before we were even dating! His first gift to me was a tin of "Flowery Jasmine Before the Rain" tea. We grow mint to put in our tea- it's really our 'thing'!

  6. For me, tea means so many different things. The familiarity of holding a cup of tea gives me a sense of peace and helps me to slow down, to think clearly. It gives me comfort on days that I need it. It reminds me of my Mom and brings back memories of tea parties and tea shops. It fosters deep conversation among sisters, among friends. It makes me wonder about the place where the tea was harvested, the person who plucked it, and the process that it went through to finally arrive in my cup. Drinking tea never gets old, never becomes a stagnant experience. This past year, I've been exploring different teas and just started my foray into green tea, keeping little notes on each cup in a journal. The new flavors and aromas make such a familiar ritual fresh and unique.

  7. What Tea means to me…

In the pursuit of relaxation and serenity, tea has been used as the medium for such journeys for thousands of years. Tea itself is not just a soothing drink, but a rich experience in history, in self-reflection, and in exploration. There is a tea for everyone, for all cultures, and for all levels of enthusiasm. Tea means that first step on a long hike, the first mile on a road trip, that sense of calm during mediation. Tea causes my time to stop, and to be at peace with the world.

  8. OMG! Tea is everything! I think I can't live without tea in my life. I drink it day and night. Others have ice cream as their comfort food, but for me, nothing beats a hot cup of tea. It soothes and relaxes my mind and body. What more can I say to express my feelings of affection towards tea? Please, can I have some tea? 🙂
