Are you still deciding on what to get for the tea lovers on your list this Christmas? My 2016 tea gift guide is here to help! You won’t find any tea on this gift guide. I wanted to keep the guide to creative tea products that tea lovers may not know they need or want. Some of these items are on my wish list too, and others I already own and think would be fun to gift. So, hurry and get browsing because there is still time to get some shopping done so your orders arrive before the holidays.
The Cup of Life’s 2016 Tea Gift Guide
Tea Pun Cards – $4.00 each
I’m sure my Instagram followers know my love for Tea Thoughts’ work. I am a fan of cheesy tea puns, and Tea Thoughts has a nice selection of the perfect cards to gift or send to loved ones this Christmas! Such as:
– I Knew You Were The One All Oolong
– You Chai’d Your Best
– I Love You So Matcha
The artist also has other tea inspired art available at her shop to check out (prints, ornaments, bags, etc.).
Tea Box Express – $25.50
Want to gift someone a tea party for Christmas? This is definitely one of my favourite tea subscription boxes. I appreciate that it’s different than most I have received before because it not only includes great tea, but also tea treats and other tea gifts. The image above is from their holiday box a couple years ago. Look at all those tea goodies! Once you get your first Tea Box Express, you’ll easily see why I call it a tea party in a box.
My Tea Bling – $17.99
Who wouldn’t want to dress up their mug or teacup with this gorgeous chain with Swarovski crystals? Tea Bling was made for you to easily clip on to your tea bag when you don’t want a boring string and tag hanging from your cup. I also love using it with tea filters that I fill up for on the go. Tea Bling helps seal the filter and I always get people asking what that beautiful thing that is sparkling in their eye is! There are various Tea Bling styles available.
Chai Wala Starter Kit – $34.95
If you have someone on your list who is a major masala chai friend, then here is the perfect gift! As you may tell from my chai blog posts lately where I share my homemade recipe and my favourite chai brands, I’m obsessed. This Chai Wala Starter Kit is on my wish list. It comes with a lovely single serve turkish pot to steep your chai in, a fine mesh strainer, and, of course, some delicious Chai Wala Chai. You can decide if you want their original (assam tea base) or rooibos chai included, too!
I can’t begin to explain my love for this complete matcha set. It literally comes with everything and more! The Wave bowl design is my favourite, but there is also the option to get a Encha Zen bowl if you prefer a different style. This set includes a bamboo tray (that doubles as a lid for the box – so cool!), matcha bowl, matcha bamboo whisk, whisk holder, matcha bamboo scoop, Encha Ceremonial Organic matcha, and a cloth. The packaging was so well planned, matcha lovers will surely jump for joy when they unwrap this gift!
I Heart Tea Enamel Pin – $8.00
Stocking stuff, anyone? This enamel pin is the perfect little gift for anyone who loves showing off their love for tea. With such a pretty design, it will easily catch an eye or two.
Hario Glass Teapot – $17.11 (700 ml)
This is probably one of the most simple and elegant glass teapot. I loved it when I first laid my eyes on it a couple years ago, and then when Stephanie from Tea Journal was talking about it At the Tea Table with me, I had to add it to my wish list this year. I really like that the fine mesh strainer is wider in this teapot than others I have, allowing the leaves more room to expand.
Personalized Rose Gold Teaspoon – $28.50
I love the idea of anything personalized, but especially when it is tea related. It’s the perfect way to give a gift and put more thought into it with a special message attached. How adorable are these rose gold teaspoons? You can request what you would like the one you’re gifting to say and the artist will make it for you.
Personalized Teacup – $24.50
To keep with the personalized theme in this tea gift guide, how about a beautiful tea cup with a custom message? If the tea lover on your list is anything like me, they can never have enough teacups. Even with a nice collection already, I bet they don’t have one especially made just for them, yet! You can get a personalized teacup with a different pattern, too. Just make sure you check on the artist’s Etsy shop for other style options before ordering.
Psst…I have a special holiday gift for you, too! If you’re interested in gifting my book, Tea-spiration, this year to a tea lover on your list (or yourself!), you can do so and get 30% OFF.
