3 Iced Tea Recipes To Help Tweak Your Tea

Bottled iced tea and I have a love hate relationship. I desperately want to like them for convenience but I have always found it difficult to find a decent brand that actually uses real tea leaves and isn’t overly sweet. With the amount of sugar packed into most bottled iced tea drinks, it doesn’t exactly refresh or hydrate me during the summer months and takes away from the actual tea flavour. However, Pure Leaf Canada recently introduced me to their new unsweetened tea line and with National Iced Tea Month just days away, I was definitely inspired to create some iced tea recipes.

Pure Leaf is brewed from real tea leaves picked at their freshest to deliver a genuine tea experience. Their unsweetened line features three flavours: Black Tea, Green Tea & Lemon (0 sugar, 0 artificial sweeteners, 0 calories, 0 compromises). They are a great on the go beverage to bring to a picnic, hike, or even to a friend’s house to mix up some tea cocktails. Bottled iced tea does not have to just stay that way. You can get creative with tea and make something all yours!Iced Tea Recipes
To celebrate the launch of #PureLeafCanada‘s new Unsweetened Teas, I am taking part in their #TweakYourTea campaign and using their three flavours to do just that. Below you will find 2 iced tea recipes and 1 tea cocktail recipe to recreate yourself and lighten up your summer without sacrificing any flavour.

  1. Lu Ann! Your blog is gorgeous! I’m sad that I haven’t stumbled upon it until now, but so glad the day has finally come! Haha. I, too, love tea – but I’m such a coffee addict that tea always gets the backseat. I want to enjoy tea more, but then I’m always like… BUT COFFEE! I have a feeling you’ll easily inspire some tea drinking habits in me, though.

I haven’t tried the Pure Leaf iced tea – but at first glance, I always think they are vinaigrettes! Haha. Something about the packaging. But I ~always notice them when I’m at the grocery store. Totally going to pick some up next time. These recipes sound delightful.

    • You are so kind, Dana! Thank you so much. I hope I will be able to inspire you to bring more tea into your life. One cup at a time 🙂 It’s funny you say you think Pure Leaf are always vinaigrettes! My friend thought the same when I brought them over haha.

  3. First of all Lu Ann, I am BLOWN AWAY by your layout! So beautiful and classy. The font, the photos, the logo…just stop already! 😛

These twists on iced tea are fantastic too. I find I like bottled iced tea but always wish I could give it a bit of a makeover with fresh herbs and fruit. And here is this post! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
