5 Best Tea Advent Calendars for Your Christmas Countdown

November 18, 2015 in Tea Thoughts

Counting down until Christmas has always been fun and exciting, but it was brought with more joy when I had an advent calendar as well. There was always something to look forward to in the morning when you could finally peak behind your calendar’s door to see what was in store for that day. Of course, back then, the typical chocolate themed advent calendars were most popular. Today, there are a plethora of items that are now used to help you countdown the days until the most wonderful time of the year. There definitely appears to be a lot more advent calendars for grown ups, and my most favourite are the tea themed ones.

Each year, DAVIDsTEA has an incredible advent calendar called 24 Days of Tea. Unfortunately, each year those calendars sell out almost instantly. By now, people know that if they want to be able to countdown until Christmas with David’s help, they need to be online or in-store right when the calendar launches. In this case, it was before Halloween, and they even had a pre-sale a few days earlier for those signed up to their frequent steeper program before making them available online.

This post was kind of inspired by DAVIDsTEA and their popular tea calendar that is, well, too popular. I wanted to be able to find any other tea themed advent calendars that are out there because there couldn’t possibly just be one. If you’re one of those people who missed out on the 24 days of tea, or just want to try a new advent calendar this year, these are a few tea advent calendars that are worth a look!

I first learned of David’s Tea advent calendar from a YouTuber named Elle Florence. I’m dying to snag one next November but I’m not sure if it’s available for U.S. customers.

I’m pretty certain they are! I know a few friends in the U.S. who were able to get one other years. Hopefully you can, too!
