Messages in your Tea Cup {part two}

My first post about Tea Leaf Reading was a brief introduction on the first time I had my tea leaves read, and tidbits to get you started.

Please Note: My findings are based on extensive research, reading and studying. It’s made clear that each reader will have their own style based on what is suitable to them. These are only some ideas on how you may begin. You’re always welcome to share your thoughts in the comments 🙂

When beginning the reading, it is standard practice to view the tea leaves in the cup as a time period of one month but depending on experiences some
readers can see your whole lifetime. Before even beginning to distinguish that though, you must have the tea ready and prepared to be drank. But how do you know what tea to use for the reading? I’ve learned that you can really use any but it’s best to use a tea according to the type of reading you will be giving. For instance, many herbal blends tend to produce few bold images so they are appropriate for shorter readings. Finer teas like Ceylon often produce quite a bit of complex designs. Thus, these types of teas would be best suited for those who have many questions or busy lifestyles.

Part of the ritual is to sit
down and enjoy the tea before
you get started. Think of it as a tea meditation practice. It’s a simple and rewarding experience that allows you
to relax and also gather your thoughts.

Come back for part three soon to learn about getting started with your reading!
